Creation is one of my favorites. Can't go wrong with an In Death Story

There isn't a series out there, in this genre, as well done as the In Death series. It's been an absolute obsession of mine for a good decade now. It's rare to find a series with this many stories in it. With the novellas, I believe there are over 50 now. The development of the characters, is unbelievable. It's like investing in a TV series that's been on for 10 years. Beloved, is probably the best word. A series this long has taken the fans through tears, joy, grief and many many firsts in their lives.
Though there are cases that aren't as interesting, as others in the series, they are all still worth the read. Now this one, Creation, is one of my favorites because it's the whole package. The case is just as interesting as the personal side of the story. There's a good investment in the personal side of the characters, as there is in the case. Those are the best ones in the series! I've read this one multiple times and it's still just as good, if not better, than the first read.
**Having said this, it's very discouraging to see negative reviews from people, who simply grabbed an In Death book and read it. I strongly recommend those people start at the beginning, rather than judging just one if the series. There may be things you don't like about some of the characters, like Eve being brash at times. You would get it, if you took the WHOLE journey.

As always, JD Robb never disappoints. Eve Dallas is forever the kickass heroine, but this time she brings in a task force of old and new (including the fantastic Roarke), to bring down a killer. Thank you for another job well done.

One of the best J.D. Robb's books I have read. Really, I love them all but this one just seemed to really hit me and I couldn't put it down.
