The younger sister Jacki, 21, is still acting and dressing like a spoiled teenager, but she also has a quick wit and smart mouth, much like Dean himself. Then there's Aunt Lorna, who raised the girls with a heavy and humorless hand and spent their inheritance on herself. While all this is being revealed, Dean becomes smitten with Camille's best friend, Eve, and a fight buddy of his arrives and winds up falling for Jacki and helping put a new roof on the old house. In the end, Camille's fiance is redeemed, Aunt Lorna gets hers, and the guys get their women. Foster supplies good sex and great humor along the way in a thoroughly enjoyable romance reminiscent of Susan Elizabeth Phillips' novels. Mary K. Chelton

Very Funny

Lori Foster weaves an intriguing plot of characters in “Causing Havoc.” Lori is both witty and very funny. The hunk of a SBC fighter Dean “Havoc” Connor possesses the muscular look with his bruised and battered body His parents died when his was nine years old. He was separated from his two sisters for twenty years. He returns to Harmony, Kentucky where he meets Eve one of his sister’s friend. The steam sizzles. Roger the sleaze is wealthy and one of Dean’s sister fiance and looks like a criminal

The story was too ordinary and sweet for me. It was not entertaining enough. I prefer wittier dialogue and unexpected actions.

All the main characters are likeable and nice to each other. Couples fall in love at first sight. There are a couple of "bad guys" who cause conflict. I do not recommend it because there was nothing creative or unusual about it. I wasn't surprised or delighted. The book reminded me of normal conversations and actions of people living in a small town. I would have preferred wittier dialogue.
Story brief: Dean is a mixed maritial arts fighter. His parents died when he was about 8. His uncle Grover raised him. His Aunt Lorna raised his two younger sisters, Cam and Jacki. Lorna hated Grover and Dean and never told his sisters that Dean existed. 21 years later Cam learns Dean exists and writes him. He visits and becomes involved in their lives. He also meets and immediately falls in love with Eve who is Cam's best friend.
Sexual language: moderate. Number of sex scenes: about four. Setting: current day Harmony, Kentucky. Copyright: 2007. Genre: contemporary romance with a little suspense.

Great romance and loved the story line

Dean is an SBC fighter who receives a letter from his estranged sister Cam whom he hasn't seen since he was nine years old when his parents died. He was taken away from his sisters and was sent to live with his uncle. He decides to return home to Harmony Kentucky to see what she needs with the intentions that he isn't gonig to stay long. When he gets there he meets this attractive women Eve who blows his mind. Only to find out later that Eve is his sisters best friend. Dean tries to refrain from being the protective big brother, by telling himself that he is not planning on staying more than a few days. Things change though as Dean becomes intimatly involved with Eve and starts playing the big brother to his sisters. I really enjoyed this book and thought it was a great story line and mixed well with the sex scenes. I couldn't put this book down and couldn't wait to read the next in the series.
